Paulo Fonseca is the latest name being backed to replace Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
Spurs are in talks with the former Roma manager over their vacant head-coach position with his odds plummeting into 2/11 from 25/1 on Thursday morning, meaning he is the new red-hot favourite.
Earlier this week all the rage was for former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to make a return to the north London club after a breakdown in talks to appoint Antonio Conte. His odds were backed into 2/1 but he has since been eased back out to 10/1.
Ajax coach Erik ten Hag was hammered into 10/11 from 25/1 but is another name who has drifted, with those odds now at 7/1 as all the money comes for Fonseca.
Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said: “Paulo Fonseca is the latest boss Spurs have spoken to in their bid to replace Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in April. Fonseca could be open to a Premier League move this summer after leaving Roma last season with his odds into 2/11 from 25/1 on Thursday morning. That makes him the new favourite ahead of Erik ten Hag who is 7/1 from a short 10/11.”
