Tony Mischief booked her place for Clonmel the second time of asking at Newcastlewest Coursing winning the Oaks Trial Stake. While she showed inexperience in her earlier courses she improved throughout with a 40-spot improvement from start to finish and to firmly establish herself as a major contender for Oaks Glory.
She is bred in the purple too the daughter of Newinn Wonder who has 11 qualifiers at Clonmel for the main two stakes 4 for the Derby and 7 for the Oaks as well as superstar dam Laurina who has 3 qualifiers.

The second favourite for the 2025 Horse & Jockey Hotel Coursing Oaks is My Cool Marie trained by Declan McDonagh for the Super Cool Syndicate and has been a major market mover after being cut from odds of 12/1.
Debuted at Glin, where she showed exceptional early gears throughout to land the Galway & Oranmore Trial Stake. She would go on to reach the final of the Corn Na Feile Oaks before being beaten in the final by Over Excited.
Bred in the purple, My Cool Marie is the daughter of Cool Spirit and Wallace Marie, here grand dam Myleene is a former Oaks semi-finalist and this bitch is widely expected to go far at Powerstown as well.

This bitch has been one of the most prolific on the field all season with a perfect 12 victories from 12 courses so far. She opened her season with victory at Ennis/Clarecastle which saw her priced as big as 33/1 to land this stake.
Since then she has continued to score with victories in the Killmur/Kilrush All Age Bitch competition and Corn Na Feile Oaks it’s no surprise she has been cut into odds of 10/1 to continue her winning streak at Clonmel.
Described as “Fast, game and gutsy” with her record she remains very good value at odds of 10/1.

The daughter of Boylesportsmagic and Tullig Belle most recently took a step u to win the All-Age Bitch event at Johnstown & Urlingford and so cannot be dismissed going close to success for glory at the National Meeting.

Snickerdoodle made an impressive debut at Glin raising two flags before being withdrawn from the competition, in her next outing she reached the semi-final at Nenagh before finally earning her ticket at Killmur-Kilrush, her final winning clock was just over a length slower than Over Excited’s success in the All-Age Final at the same meeting.
With gears like that, it’s no surprise that the daughter of Boylesportsmagic and Tullig Belle is well-fancied to continue to make a splash, this time in the Oaks at the National Meeting.

Rounding off the top of the betting marker for the 2025 Horse & Jockey Hotel Coursing Oaks is Newinn Candy at odds of 12/1 for no someone who is no stranger to success on both the Coursing and Track scene Shari-Anne O’Donnell.
On debut at Derry, Newinn Candy had to settle for the consolation prize of runner-up being beaten by 3 lengths by Tis Our Dream in the final. However, there was plenty more to come from the bitch and on her next outing at Johnstown & Urlingford she was the fastest at the meeting clocking 10.23 on her way to success.
This daughter of Blades of Hope and Newinn Gaga has plenty of pace and looks well-positioned to mount a strong challenge at Clonmel.
