They are two of Man United's greatest every players but we're wondering who was the tougher opponent to play against - Roy Keane or Paul Scholes?
Here at BoyleSports we got the chance to sit down and catch up with Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit who spent much of his career competing Man United's two midfield dynamos for the Premier League title.
Petit had a fascinating take on who he thought was the fiercest competitor in those iconic Man United v Arsenal games of the 2000s.
We also talked to the former Arsenal star about how good Denis Irwin was as a player, Damien Duff's value in today's market and much more.
You can check it all out below!
Roy Keane wasn't my toughest opponent - you should probably ask that question to Patrick Vieira! My toughest opponent was Paul Scholes. When we were fighting for the trophy with Manchester United, Paul Scholes was the fiercest competitor on the pitch.
Always the first person to go for the ball and give you a tackle. Me and Patrick Vieira also kept a close eye on Paul Scholes - he was a magician.

Denis Irwin was always underestimated during his career and I don't understand why. Often when you ask this type of question, you don't think about the full backs straight away, but I remember Denis Irwin was great.
He was aggressive and a good tactician. He was mentally strong, good with set pieces - I can't remember how many Free - kicks he scored for his country and club, but I always thought he was underrated.
When people say Ashley Cole, although I have respect for him, nobody should forget Denis Irwin. He is often overlooked because he was playing in the same generation as Maldini and Roberto Carlos. If he was playing today, he would definitely be up there as there aren't many players that can play with both feet. He was very clever with the ball.
I agree with Pat Nevin on Damien Duff's value - he’d be a bargain at £80m! He was tremendous and versatile. He was very difficult to stop on his best day.
He was also halted by many injuries, but he was a quality left winger, and I remember some games where he was an absolute nightmare for the right backs in the Premier League.
Caomhin Kelleher should consider a move away, however Chelsea still have two keepers in Mendy and Kepa. A club that he would fit in perfectly is Tottenham. Hugo Lloris keeps sustaining injuries and has left the national team, he is not the future anymore.
Foster is also 34, so Tottenham may need a refresh in that department. Kelleher is 24 years old. In the cup fixtures last season, especially against Chelsea, he was really good. If he wants to cement his own legacy, he should leave and join Tottenham.
It was another very impressive performance against Leicester. I was disappointed that Maddison didn’t play and you could tell he was a big miss for his teammates.
Arsenal showed a great maturity away from home and they are still the best team away from home in the United Kingdom this season. It was so important to keep this pressure on Man City and I hope they win against Everton on Wednesday.
City will put pressure on them every single day, but they are showing so much maturity and happiness. Happiness is so important and you can see that from Jorginho, he’s a different player.
I’m not a big fan of Jorginho and I think he’s very happy he’s left Chelsea’s dressing room - all of a sudden he looks like a different player.
This is the best Arsenal team I’ve seen in a long time, for sure. I still have memories of when Wenger left the club, they declined for years and years and they dropped down the table and didn’t play European competition anymore.
They’re playing in the Europa League but Arsenal must come back to the Champions League. I’m very happy with how Arteta has transformed them mentally.
It’s related to Graham Potter at Chelsea. When you have a manager with a vision you have to respect it and they showed all the support behind the manager and this is very important.
