A lucky punter in County Kildare is celebrating a satisfying win on the horses after a €5 stake was transformed into a four-figure windfall on Saturday evening.
The anonymous customer struck the wager via their BoyleSports account on Saturday and picked just three horses across evening meetings at Tramore and Chepstow.
7/1 shot Bright Flame got the ball rolling by winning the 7.15 at Tramore, before attention shifted to 12/1 pick Sir Cranford, who was backed into 9/1 before winning the 7.30 at Chepstow.
That left Das Kapital to complete the coup by landing the 8.00 at Chepstow following a gamble into 13/2 from 12/1. All three horses crossed the winning line in the space of 45 minutes and allowed the lucky punter to return to the shop the following day to pick up a cool €6,760.
It only cost them €5 but their three selections were on the money and we wish them luck spending their winnings.
