Yanworth has tightened in the market for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham after trainer Alan King confirmed he will be aimed at that race only at this year’s Festival.

A burst in support for the JP McManus 8-year-old forced BoyleSports to cut his odds into 8/1 from 12/1 initially.""

The support didn’t stop there and he is now 6/1 third favourite behind 5/2 market leader Supasundae and five-time hurdle winner Sam Spinner at 9/2.

Yanworth’s removal from other markets has seen Monalee close into 8/1 from 14/1 for the JLT Novices’ Chase, while he remains second favourite at 4/1 behind Presenting Percy for the RSA Chase.

The Paul Nicholls-trained Black Corton has also closed into 8/1 for the RSA Chase, finding himself half the price he was before winning at Ascot last weekend under trusted pilot Bryony Frost.
