Tiger Woods is the clear favourite to win the highly anticipated Showdown at Shadow Creek’ against old rival Phil Mickelson.
The 14-time major winner has been made a 1/2 odds-on shot for the pay-per-view clash in Las Vegas with a jaw-dropping $9m up for grabs for the victor.
Mickelson, who struggled for form in the 2nd half of the season and put in a lacklustre display at the Ryder Cup in Paris, is the 13/8 outsider.
Mickelson has however got tongues wagging with a $200,000 side bet that he would birdie the opening hole, but he is chalked up at 3/1 to have even bettered his opponents score by the time they reach the second tee.
The three-time Masters champ may even have made more headlines for his dancing in a US commercial this year than his golf and we are 5/2 to be treated to his suspect moves on the first tee before competition gets under way.
Woods is a 4/5 shot to be leading the contest at the half way point while you can get 100/1 about either player hitting an ace during the match.
