Women’s Royal Rumble Favourites

Charlotte Flair– 10/11

The overwhelming favourite for the 2025 Royal Rumble is Charlotte with odds of 10/11 these odds suggest she has a 52.4% chance of winning the event.

The daughter of the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Charlotte Flair has established herself as one of the most dominant and decorated female wrestlers in history. Since debuting she has won 597 matches in her WWE career including 17 championship victories including her success in the 2020 Royal Rumble she went on the successfully challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT Championship.

Despite accusations of  WWE favouritism toward her throughout the years, due to her aforementioned WWE lineage and her dominant record in the ring, it’s now been a couple of years since her last title reign when she lost her Smackdown Women’s Championship title at WrestleMania 39 to Rhea Ripley.

Charlotte was last seen on screens on the December 8th episode of SmackDown in 2023, when she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during her match against Asuka. It was then revealed that she would miss approximately nine months of action including WrestleMania 40.

She is rumoured to be returning soon and there’s no better place than a Royal Rumble victory to set up what many consider a “Dream Match” with current champion Tiffany Stratton.

Iyo Sky – 3/1

The second favourite for the Royal Rumble is Iyo Sky with odds of 3/1 suggesting a 25% chance of her winning the event.

Iyo first appeared on WWE live programming during the 2018 Mae Young Classic where she would reach the final after defeating  Xia Brookside in the tournament's first round Zeuxis in the second round, Deonna Purrazzo in the quarterfinals and Rhea Ripley in the semi-finals before losing in the final to Toni Storm.

Since then she has quickly established herself as one of the most underrated talents on the roster including being booked to win the NXT Women’s Championship, Tag Championship and WWE Women’s Championship once and Tag Team Championship twice.

Iyo Sky may have been a world champion within the last year but given her weaker booking recently I think she isn’t a value bet at odds of 3/1.

Becky Lynch – 10/3

The third favourite for the Royal Rumble is Becky Lynch with odds of 10/3 suggesting the Irish Lass Kicker has a 23.1%  chance of winning the event.

Becky Lynch since debuting on the Main Roster in 2015 following a period in NXT, has gone on already to arguably transcend the sport of wrestling, breaking down barriers and putting women’s wrestling well and truly on the map.

This achievement was best shown by her 2019 Royal Rumble victory which catapulted her into a match against Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair in a Winner Takes All triple threat match for both titles. Lynch would win in what was the first Women’s match to the Main Event a WrestleMania.

Lynch has not been seen since an episode of RAW on the 27th of May where she failed to regain her title from Liv Morgan in a steel cage match after an interference from Dominick Mysterio.

Her contract with WWE expired the following June though it was reported earlier this month she had signed a new deal with the company. She’s very likely to return to the ring at the Royal Rumble and if so is very likely to go close to becoming a dual winner of the event following her success in 2019.

Bianca Belair - 7/1

The fourth favourite for the Royal Rumble next Saturday is Bianca Belair of  13/2 these odds suggest she has a 12.5% chance of her winning the event.

Bianca Belair is one of the biggest stars in the company and a former winner of the Royal Rumble coming back in the fourth edition of the Women’s Royal Rumble with her success in 2021. She also holds several Royal Rumble records including having the joint most eliminations of any year with her 8 in 2020 and was the “Ironwoman” in 2024 (47.46) and 2021 (56.52) respectively.

This year she’s taken a step away from the singles scene instead, with most of her matches occurring on the Tag Team scene with partner Jade Cargill. Though she is expected to fight the latter at WrestleMania in a single match.

Belair is another with the look, charisma and athleticism that makes her stand out from the rest of the female talent in the company and likely a contender for the consolation prize of most eliminations, but I can’t see her winning this year.

Alexa Bliss - 9/1

Next in the betting is Alexa Bliss with odds of  9/1 suggesting she has a 10% of winning the event following her hiatus.

Bliss has been absent from WWE programming for coming up to 2 years with her last appearance ironically coming at the 2023 Royal Rumble where she lost a title rematch with Bianca Belair failing to win back her title. In the meantime, she has battled serious health problems and also gave birth to her first daughter in November 2023.

More recently though she’s started to tease a return to the WWE ring, it seems like a matter of when and not if she does eventually return expect her to return to a prominent position in the Main Event scene given she has a wide accolade list including 5 Women’s Championships, 3 Tag Team titles and a 2018 Money in the Bank victory.

Others

Jade Cargill made her in-ring debut for WWE in the 2024 Royal Rumble and she’s already become a 2-time Tag Team title holder. Ironically though she is widely seen as a future World Champion her odds of 10/1 for this year's event are larger than last year's.

Jordynne Grace can be gotten at odds of 12/1 following her debut as entrant 5 at last year's event becoming only the second TNA Knockouts World Champion to appear in a Royal Rumble since Mickie James did in 2022. She has since become a regular on NXT and is highly thought of in the company.

Finally, Raquel Rodriguez is another with the look and pedigree to win a Royal Rumble event someday but with odds of 20/1 it’s unlikely to be this year.
