Wimbledon Favourites – Men’s Singles

Jannik Sinner – 6/4

World Number (1) Italian Jannik Sinner (23) is the joint-favourite at odds of 6/4 ahead of Wimbledon to claim his first success at the event.

Jannik has been playing on the pro tour since 2018 and he quickly made his mark on the ATP Tour when he won the Sofia Open defeating Canadian Vasek Pospisil in the final 6-4, 3-6 and 7-6 in doing so he became became the youngest Italian tour-level champion in the Open Era and the youngest player overall to win an ATP title since Kei Nishikori in 2008.

Following that victory, he’s become a serial winner on tour with 19 Career Titles to his name including Grand Slam successes in the Australian Open in 2024 and 2025 and in the 2024 US Open. His overall career match record is 282 wins and 82 losses.

2025 has been a mixed year for him though, he opened the season he opened the year with success in the Australian Open before injury issues meant he would withdraw from the next five tournaments. He returned to the Italian Open where he lost in the final to Alcaraz and in the next tournament, he reached the final before again losing to Alcaraz.

Sinner has bounced back from his injury issues, but at odds of 7/5, I think he’s too short given he’s lost twice to Alcaraz since returning to the court.

Sinner to win - 6/4

Carlos Alcaraz - 6/4

World Number (2) Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (22) is the other joint-favourite also at odds of 6/4 to win his third consecutive Wimbledon title.

Carlos has also been playing professionally since 2018 at the age of 15 with his first ATP title coming in March 2022 at the Miami Open at the age of 18 defeating Casper Ruud in straight sets 7-5, 6-4. That victory was the catalyst to what would become when he won the 2022 US Open becoming the youngest man and the first male teenager in the Open Era to top the singles rankings, at 19 years, 4 months, and 6 days old

Following those successes, he’s become one of the most prolific players on the tour with 20 Career Titles to his name including five Grand Slam victories coming in the US Open in 2022 Wimbledon in 2023 and 2024 and the French Tennis Open in 2024 and 2024. His overall record is 247 wins and 61 losses.

In 2025 he’s continued his fantastic form and has already four calendar titles to his name the Rotterdam Open, the Monte-Carlos Masters, the Italian Open and the French Tennis Open. Other strong performances were at the Barcelona Open where he was runner-up, Australian Open and Qatar Open quarter-finals and a semi-final appearance at the Indian Wells Open.

Alcaraz is a serial Grand Slam winner and given his Wimbledon record I think odds of 7/5 to win the tournament remain a good price.

Novak Djokovic - 9/2

World Number (5) Novak Djokovic is the next in the betting at odds of 9/2 to win his seventh Grand Slam title.

Since turning Pro in 2003, Novak has established himself a reputation where he is considered one of the greatest tennis players of his generation and by extension one of the greatest players of all time. His 100 Career Titles puts him only behind Roger Federer’s 103 and Jimmy Connors 109. In terms of Grand Slam successes, nobody can match his 24 Titles though with the next best Rafael Nadal (22) and Roger Federer (20).

While he remains one of the best players on the ATP Tour and is still ranked among the top five in fifth, it’s fair to say that Novak at 38 has gone even beyond the twilight of his career and for someone who was once so dominant didn’t win a single tournament in 2024 following an 18-month barren spell it was the first year without a title since 2005.

Predictions of his declining stature as a player were silenced again this season though when at the end of last month he won the 2025 Geneva Open where he defeated Hubert Hurkacz in the final to claim his 100th ATP singles title.

Novak remains a regular in the latter stages of tournaments and at odds of 9/2, he can’t be ruled out of winning his eighth Wimbledon title.

Djokovic to win - 9/2

Jack Draper – 8/1

The fourth favourite for success at Wimbledon is leading UK hope Jack Draper with odds of 8/1 of claiming his first Grand Slam success.

Jack (23) who turned Pro in 2018 has had a breakthrough couple of years on the ATP Tour and capped that off with his first title this year in the Indian Wells Open. He also performed well in the Canadian Open reaching the quarter-final and Madrid Open where he was runner-up.

While he hasn’t had the career of those ahead of him in the betting, it’s still early days and 8/1 may be the biggest price you will get him at Wimbledon for the foreseeable future.

Alexander Zverev - 20/1

The fifth favourite for Wimbledon is German tennis star Alexander Zverev (28) who will also be looking to win a maiden Grand Slam title.

The World Number (3) has been playing professionally since 2013 and has already accumulated an impressive Career Title tally of 24 with his last coming in November last year at the Paris Masters where he beat hometown player Ugo Humbert in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.

While never a prolific in major events more recently he’s been stronger more recently finishing runner-up at the French Tennis Open in 2024 and the Australian Open in 2025. Is a strong each way player at odds of 20/1.

Zverev to win - 20/1
