Form Guides
West Ham United Form Guide
West Ham United will be looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Wolves at the weekend and get back on track in the Premier League. This is a huge game in the context of their season, as a win would cut the gap to their opponents who sit immediately above them to just one point.
Nuno Espírito Santo will be very familiar with his opponents in this game, having managed them from December 2023 to September of last year, with the highlight being their impressive seventh-place finish last season. Interestingly, he will arguably know Forest’s players better than the man in the opposition dugout, with Sean Dyche having been in charge of the club for a little over two months.
While results have been disappointing in recent weeks, the performance against Brighton and narrow defeats to Fulham and an in-form Aston Villa are signs of optimism.

Nottingham Forest’s Form Guide
Expectation levels were high at Nottingham Forest ahead of the 2025/26 season following their seventh-place finish last term, which qualified them for the Europa League. However, the club has since struggled to manage competing commitments, and they now find themselves in seventeenth place with eighteen points after twenty games.
Sean Dyche was an interesting appointment as Head Coach last October, given that he came through the club's academy before departing for Chesterfield during his playing days in 1990. Though Forest have shown signs of promise under Dyche, including a solid performance to beat Tottenham 3-0 earlier last month, the club have now lost four consecutive games in all competitions.
Though not in the best of form, there’s a lot to like about this Forest side, with the likely midfield pairing of Anderson and Gibbs-White the envy of many clubs in the Premier League, and Hutchinson a potential game-changer if given time and space on the ball.

Key Players To Watch
Key Players To Watch
Mateus Fernandes - West Ham United
The club have unearthed a gem in the Portuguese summer signing from Southampton, who has consistently delivered exceptional performances for the club. A real all-rounder, he brings the side strong defensive output, progressive passing, dribbling threat and relentless energy, which could be key if the Hammers are to win the midfield battle.
Omari Hutchinson - Nottingham Forest
A player who flies under the radar as a threat for Nottingham Forest is former England Underage International Omari Hutchinson, who signed from Ipswich Town during the summer window. This season in the Premier League, he has scored once and assisted four times in fifteen matches, and his attacking flair, dribbling ability and eye for a key pass will be something to watch out for on Monday Night.
West Ham United v Nottingham Forest Prediction & Best Bet
Prediction: West Ham United 1-1 Nottingham Forest
West Ham United will be looking to bounce back from their weekend defeat to Wolves, but the signs are good following their solid showing last time out at London Stadium when they held Brighton to a 2-2 draw.
Nottingham Forest will also be looking to bounce back from defeat following their to Aston Villa 3-1 last weekend, but last month did have an impressive 3-0 victory over Tottenham.
This is a huge game in the context of both sides' seasons, and I can see them both cancelling one another out.
