Vroum Vroum Mag In First Gear For Mares'

With the Cheltenham Festival little over two weeks away, we can report some major movement across the bumper four days of racing.

Vroum Vroum Mag has further strengthened as the favourite for the Mares’ Hurdle on day one with the Willie Mullins trained 7-year-old now priced at 11/10 from 5/4. Another Willie Mullins mover in the race is Measureofmydreams, who is now 14/1 from 20/1.

In the Champion Hurdle, for which we are are non-runner cash back, Identity Thief and Nichols Canyon have both been eased to 5/1 from 9/2 with The New One shortening into 6/1 from 7/1.

Finally on day one, both The Young Master and Theatre Guide have been cut into 14/1 from 16/1 for the Ultima Festival Handicap Chase.

CHELTENHAM 2-3

The Gordon Elliot trained Campeador continues to lead the charge for the Fred Winter on Day 2 having shortened into 6/1 from 7/1 with Nigel Twiston-Davies’ El Terremoto now 16/1 from 20/1.

On day three Willie Mullins’ Valseur Lido has been eased to 5/1 from 7/2 in the Ryanair Chase. Alpha Des Obeaux is now 6/1 from 7/1 in the World Hurdle with Prince of Scars drifting to 20/1 from 16/1.

Looking forward to the final day of the festival, Alan King’s Smad Place has been cut into 10/1 from 12/1 to land the Gold Cup.
