This son of Laughil Blake – So Said Sarah showed terrific early pace to take up the lead and wasn’t going to be caught. He skipped home in 28.28 with Rahale Podge three lengths back in second and 4/6 favourite Skywalker Barry another 1½ lengths back in third.

Good Cody won heat four, wearing the orange jacket with his seeding change from an inside runner to a middle doing the trick. This Patrick Guilfoyle trained Irish Sprint Cup winner clocked 28.47 with Serene Ace just a length back in second and Ballymac Kingdom in third.
Good Cody remains the favourite with his odds cut into 4/1 from 5/1 while Serene Ace is 5/1 from 10/1 for trainer Michael J O’Donovan.
Heat two was all about Droopys Good who made the most of his inside draw to win by 2½ lengths to Storys Direct in 28.62 for trainer Owen McKenna. His odds have tumbled into 6/1 from 12/1 with third place Knight Tornado 9/2 from 8/1.
