Ukraine will be represented by Alyona Alyona who is a Ukrainian rapper and songwriter. Alyona has been dubbed "the new rap star of Ukraine" and "the sensation of Ukrainian rap" by Ukrainian media. In an article titled "15 European Pop Acts Who Matter Right Now", The New York Times likened her to Azealia Banks.

"Teresa & Maria” is a song by Ukrainian singers Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil. Self-described as a song about hope inspired by Roman Catholic saint Mother Teresa and the Virgin Mary, the song was written by Alyona, Heil, Anton Chilibi, and Ivan Klymenko.

How Many Times Did Ukraine Win The Eurovision?
Ukraine has won the Eurovision on three occasions. Their first victory came in 2004 when they won with "Wild Dances" a Pop Folk song by Ukrainian singer-songwriter Ruslana. Their second success at the event came when "1944" a song written and performed by Ukrainian singer Jamala represented Ukraine in 2016
Their third and most recent success came in last year’s event when they participated and won in Turin, Italy, with the song "Stefania" performed by the group Kalush Orchestra after topping the televoting and coming fourth in the jury vote.
Which Semi-Final Are Ukraine Competing In At Eurovision 2024?
Ukraine are set to take to the stage in the second Semi-Final on Thursday the 9 th of May competing against Malta, Albania, Greece, Czechia, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway and Switzerland.
The best 10 countries from Semi-Final 2 will qualify for the Grand Final on Saturday the 11th of May.
