Jon Pereira (37) is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and is also a former UFC Middleweight Champion.

He is currently ranked #3 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings and is widely regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time being part of an elite class of nine fighters to become a champion in two weight classes. His most recent bout was against Khalil Rountree Jr.at UFC 307 when he won via TKO Punches at 4.32 into the fourth round.

Magomed Ankalaev (32) is currently ranked #1 in the UFC Light Heavyweight rankings and is a former Light Heavyweight champion of the World Fighting Championship Akhmat. He also won the 2016 Akhmat FC Light Heavyweight Grand Prix.

His current record is 19-1-1 (1), with his most recent bout coming back at UFC 308 vs Aleksandar Rakić where he won via unanimous decision.

Ahead of this bout 10/12 of Alex Pereria’s successes have come via knockout, with 2 of his other successes coming via decision with the majority of those knockouts being via punches, aside from a TKO (flying knee and punches)  at UFC 268 to go 4-1 and at UFC 303 when he won via TKO (head kick and punches).
