The Meath trainer, who saddled 2018 winner General Principle, has 23 horses entered for the Easter Monday renewal which marks the 150th running of the race.
And he's told sponsors BoyleSports this week of two potential runners holding strong each-way claims.
“Fairyhouse is one of my local tracks and one my favourites," said Elliott.
"It would be very special to win it again on the 150th running as the atmosphere will be second to none with the crowds back racing.
“Fakir D’alene who was fourth in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham would be in with a good each-way chance and Death Duty is well weighted, so we’re looking forward to it because they’d have a chance.”
Fakir D’alene is a 25/1 shot in the latest betting for the race, while Death Duty is 20/1 having stayed on to finish sixth behind Corach Rambler in the Ultima Handicap Chase at Cheltenham.
Stattler is the current favourite for the €500,000 contest as trainer Willie Mullins also targets his second win in the race following Burrows Saint’s victory in 2019.
Last year’s winner Freewheelin Dylan also features among the entries and is 25/1 for a stunning repeat after landing the first prize as the longest priced winner in the history of the race at 150/1.
