Robbie Power has singled out Porticello as a big danger in this year’s Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

He said: “A slightly stronger run race at Leopardstown really suited Fil Dor at Christmas. The Triumph Hurdle is always a test of stamina, but sometimes it can be a bit tactical and not strongly run.


“If it was run that way, then it wouldn’t play to his strengths as he is all about stamina. He was hugely impressive at Leopardstown, but another horse who impressed me was Porticello.


“He was very impressive at Chepstow and is another horse who is all about stamina. Fil Dor is entitled to be the price he is and Porticello is great each-way value for what he has achieved and should be shorter than what he is at 12/1.”
