Tottenham v FK Bodø/Glimt Preview
Tottenham’s Form
Ange Postecoglou’s tenure at Tottenham hangs very much in the balance as we close out the season. Last season the signs looked positive even with early exits in cup competitions their 5th finish had Spurs supporters hoping for a brighter future. While their cup form has improved considerably with a semi-final appearance in the EFL Cup as well as this one, their league form sees them 16th with 4 league games remaining in their season.
Spurs have been relatively consistent in the Europa League though and their tally of 17 points from 8 games placed them 4th in the league phase and into a Round of 16 slot. They then overturned a 1-0 deficit against AZ to win 3-2 on aggregate before a 1-2 aggregate victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals. They have shown a degree of resistance to reach this stage of the competition.
Failure to balance both Domestic and European affairs leaves Ange’s future in the balance but if he guides them to a Europa League title he will be very difficult to sack.

FK Bodø/Glimt’s Form
The Bodø/Glimt's rise since their promotion into the top tier of Norwegian Football in 2017 has been nothing short of remarkable. Following an 11th finish in 2018, they’ve since never been outside the top-two coming runner-up in 2019 and 2022 and winning the Eliteserien in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024.
While it’s early days in their Domestic League, their European form this season has turned the heads of all those around them. During the league phase, their tally of 14 points meant they only missed out on an automatic Round of 16 slot by coming behind Rangers by a goal difference of +3. In the playoff, they overturned a 2-1 defeat to Twente to win 6-4 on aggregate and their 3-0 first-leg win over Olympiacos was enough to get them over the line 2-4.
Their latest tie opened with a 2-0 win over Lazio and though they were defeated 3-1 in the second leg AET. They were able to continue the most unlikely of runs shocking the Italian Giants on penalties 2-3.

Key Players To Watch
Dominic Solanke - Tottenham
Filling the boots of Harry Kane was never going to be easy, but that’s exactly what Solanke was tasked with doing. While not to the level of his predecessor Solanke did have pedigree having been on the books of Chelsea, and Liverpool before hitting the heights with Bournemouth and having also been capped for England from U16 to Senior Level.
Solanke is strong and a decent finisher and has a tally of 13 goals and 8 assists in 40 games this season with 3 goals and 4 assists in 10 Europa games he is now priced at 4/1 to score first and 11/10 to score anytime.
Solanke first goal - 4/1
Kasper Hogh - FK Bodø/Glimt
The former Denmark Underage International (24) has been instrumental for his club I throughout the Europa League campaign with 7 Goals and 1 Assist in 12 Games is the joint top-scorer in the competition so far.
Hogh is a strong finisher, converting 50% of his chances in the competition so far, he won’t be afraid to take on and run at the Spurs defence making him an even greater threat on the break. He is 12/1 to score first or 7/2 to score at any time.
Hogh anytime goal - 12/1

Tottenham’s season and Ange’s job hangs on the Europa League and their performance at the weekend is concerning.
Bodø/Glimt's run to this stage can’t be dismissed and they’ve already scared English opposition earlier in the competition.
