Bookies Back Rebel Revenge In 2026
Jake Morris is the odds-on favourite at 8/13 with BOYLE Sports to be named Hurler of the Year after a triumphant Tipperary topped the charts on the All-Star team.
Morris is one of seven recipients from the All-Ireland champions in the 2025 selection, with teammate John McGrath (7/4) also in the running for the Hurler of the Year gong being dished out at Friday’s ceremony at Dublin’s RDS.
Can Tipp Go Back-To-Back?
Cork’s Brian Hayes is rated an 8/1 outsider of the trio nominated for the top award; however, the Liam MacCarthy runners-up have been installed as 5/2 joint favourites to bounce back with an All-Ireland title in 2026.
The Rebels, who picked up four All-Stars, share the top spot in next year’s betting with Limerick, while back-to-back titles for Tipperary is rated a 4/1 chance.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said:
“It was a year to remember for the Tipp hurlers and more accolades are coming their way, but punters are torn on next year’s race, which looks as wide open as ever.”
