The Rose of Tralee Festival kicks off in Kerry next week although it might be over before it has even begun!
Sydney Rose Aisling Walsh looks a cert as the 3/1 favourite to take the coveted crown.
After moving to Sydney four years ago, the stunning oncology nurse is well backed after opening at 14/1.
International Roses have a history of scooping the title with the last two winners being entrants from abroad.
Back on our own shores, Dublin Rose Maria Coughlan is joint second favourite at 15/2 to take the title. The 25 year-old primary school teacher from Malahide, drifted out from an early price of 12/1. Coughlan is tied at 15/2 in the betting with San Francisco Rose Amanda Donohue – who at 20 years old is one of the youngest contestants this year.
The competition kicks off in Tralee next Wednesday with the winner being crowned on the 22nd August.
