We can report a surge in support for Village Vic in the Ryanair Chase at this year’s Cheltenham Festival.
Philip Hobbs’ son of Old Vic was last seen winning a Grade 3 handicap Chase at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day and is now 12/1 from 16/1 following a flurry of hefty each way bets on Thursday. The race is included in our NRMB offer despite not being one of the four Championship races.
David Pipe’s Dynaste has also drifted out to 20/1 from 16/1.
The National Hunt Challenge Cup currently sees the Willie Mullins trained Black Hercules head the betting at 7/2, but we have also seen support for the Jonjo O’Neill trained Minella Rocco, who is now 6/1 from 7/1. Colin Tizzard’s Native River, who will be ridden by top amateur Derek O’Connor, is now 10/1 from 12/1.
