Horse racing fans gathered at Fairyhouse on Sunday to watch the brilliant Honeysuckle claim a third Hatton’s Grace Hurdle in superb fashion.

Willie and Danny Mullins teamed up to win the Grade One Royal Bond Novice Hurdle with Statuaire who got up on the line in an exciting battle to beat the 5/4 favourite My Mate Mozzie. Statuaire has been introduced at 7/1 for the Mares Novice Hurdle.

Fil Dor landed the Grade Three Juvenile Hurdle for Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell and is 9/2 for the Triumph Hurdle. Lunar Power finished second for trainer Noel Meade and is 12/1 from 33/1 in the betting for the same race having caught the eye.
