NFL Playoffs Power Rankings

8. Jaguars

8. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS @ 14/1

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence remains something of an enigma but he has been far more consistent this season and a well-drilled defence has also come to the fore during an eight-game winning streak.

Head coach Liam Coen has turned things around since a horror show at Wembley in Week 7 and this is a battle-hardened team that has performed well in a number of tight contests against tough opponents.

Are the Jags AFC dark horses?

7. Texans

7. HOUSTON TEXANS @ 11/1

Recovering from 0-3 to finish 12-5 after nine consecutive victories was some feat and Houston ’s dominant defence is capable of tearing up any opposing playbook, so if CJ Stroud ’s partnership with wide receiver Nico Collins continues to flourish, this is a dangerous unit.

6. Patriots

6. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS @ 10/1

Mike Vrabel has done an incredible job in getting the Pats back on track and having a stellar quarterback like Drake Maye means they can’t be discounted, but a very favourable fixture list means New England still have a lot to prove.

Are the Patriots 'Frauds'?

5. Bills

5. BUFFALO BILLS @ 9/1

Having lost to Kansas City in the play-offs four times in the last five years, the Bills will be relieved to see the Chiefs slip out of the picture.

Josh Allen is probably the most dynamic playmaker left standing and James Cook always runs the ball hard, but do Buffalo have the defensive strength to keep doing it on the road?

Can Bills Finally Make It To the Super Bowl with Mahomes' Chiefs Playoffs Absence?

4. Eagles

4. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES @ 8/1

The Eagles have been far from convincing during the defence of their title, including a hat-trick of defeats from Week 12-14 , but the play-offs draw has fallen kindly for them and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio will have his powerful pass rush fired up from here on.

Are the defending champions Eagles being underrated ahead of these Playoffs?

3. Broncos

3. DENVER BRONCOS @ 13/2

Bo Nix needs to improve his consistency and losing running back JK Dobbins was a big blow, but the significant plus points are head coach Sean Payton's experience, an elite defence that has the best all-round ability in that department and home advantage at Mile High as the AFC number one seed.

2. LA Rams

2. LOS ANGELES RAMS @ 9/2

Late defeats in Seattle and Atlanta have clouded the issue but head coach Sean McVay and on-field lieutenant Matthew Stafford have been there before and proven they can come good when it matters most.

With Puka Nacua proving almost uncoverable and fellow star wide receiver Davante Adams expected to return from a hamstring injury fit, fresh and raring to go, the two-time Super Bowl champions are back to being the greatest show on turf.

Should Rams QB Matthew Stafford win 2025 NFL MVP?

1. Seahawks

1. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS @ 7/2

Beating the Rams and the 49ers at the end of the regular season has left Seattle as top seeds in the NFC and in pole position to go all the way.

They say that defences win titles and the Seahawks have excelled on that side of the ball with a blood-thirsty group that swarms all over opposing quarterbacks.

The big question is whether Sam Darnold and a limited offence can hold up their end, but no stadium is louder than Lumen Field , so that home advantage is huge.
