Sinn Féin are beginning to pull clear of Fine Gael and the other parties, according to the latest Irish Mail on Sunday-Ireland Thinks poll and now they are being backed to win the most seats at the next general election.
This has resulted in the party being backed into 8/13 from 4/6 to win the most seats at the next election, the shortest price it has ever been.
The recent poll results have seen Mary Lou McDonald’s support grow to become the next Taoiseach. The Sinn Féin leader has been trimmed into the lowest she has ever been at 11/10 from 11/8 meaning she has become the new favourite while current Taoiseach Micheál Martin has been eased out to 12/1 from 9/1 as he continues to come under pressure.
