Tipperary have won over punters after they began their Championship bid with an impressive away victory in Cork on Sunday.
Liam Sheedy’s men hit 2-24 from play and ran out winners at Pairc Ui Chaoimh by a 7-point margin to inflict Cork’s first provincial defeat since 2016 and now they’re being backed to go on and win just their second All-Ireland title since Sheedy steered them to glory in 2010.
...seeing them leapfrog Kilkenny and Galway to become the second favourites to go all the way behind reigning champions Limerick.
A growing number now believe they’re ready to hit the heights again and another victory over Waterford this weekend is likely to see them threaten Limerick’s tag as favourites.
Clare have also come in for support after they held on for a narrow victory over Waterford and a fifth All-Ireland SHC crown for the Banner is now 6/1 from 8/1. The Déise however have drifted out to 16/1 from 9/1 as they face a crucial and tricky encounter next time out with a trip to Tipp.
