Lowry is without a victory in 2023 with his most recent win coming at the BMW PGA Championship back in September where he beat second-placed Rory Mcllroy and Jon Rahm by one stroke.

The Offaly native most recently finished T67 at the RBC Heritage which was his worst performance since being cut at the Phoneix Open.

2022 was a hit-and-miss year for Lowry at the Majors. He Started his campaign in good form coming tied for third at The Masters with a score of -5 under which was two strokes behind Rory Mcllroy and five strokes behind winner Scottie Scheffler.

That was as good as it got though for Lowry in the majors in 2022 as he finished tied for 23rd at the PGA Championship, was cut at the U.S. Open and finished tied for 21st at The Open Championship.

At the 2023 Masters and the first major of this season he finished in a very respectable T16 at Augusta National.

Shane Lowry US PGA Championship Form

Shane Lowry has not had the best of luck at this event but had a solid start making his first appearance in 2010 coming T37. He didn’t appear at the event again until 2013 coming T32 and T9 in 2014.  However, he would be cut in the event four years in a row from 2015-2018.

In recent iterations of the event he has had mostly better luck coming T8 in 2019, T66 in 2020, T4 in 2021 and T23 in 2022. Could this be the year he finally makes a charge for another major victory?
