England’s World Cup qualifying campaign has been a fairly comfortable ride so far, but Tuesday night’s trip to Serbia promises to be a much tougher assignment.
The Three Lions have picked up maximum points from four outings in Group K, but their hosts are also unbeaten with two wins and a draw.
Belgrade is never an easy place to visit, and Thomas Tuchel may well be prepared to settle for a share of the spoils at Rajko Mitic Stadium, so 12/5 for a draw is our opening Serbia vs England prediction.

These teams met for the first time at Euro 2024, when England edged a 1-0 victory in Gelsenkirchen, with the currently absent Jude Bellingham hitting the target after 13 minutes in an impressive individual display.
Harry Kane went close to adding a second when his header was tipped onto the bar, but Serbia came on strong in the second half and Dusan Vlahovic forced Jordan Pickford to make a fine save.

The Eagles went on to draw their other two games at that tournament against Slovenia and Denmark before making an early exit.
Serbia were then far from disgraced in a tough Nations League pool, finishing third behind Spain and Denmark after holding both of those teams at home and taking four points off Switzerland.
In a relegation play-off with Austria, they drew 1-1 in Vienna before prevailing 2-0 in Belgrade to stay up.
After kicking off this qualifying campaign with a goalless stalemate in Albania, Serbia beat Andorra 3-0 at home, and Saturday brought a 1-0 success in Latvia.
Captain Aleksandar Mitrovic is well known to English fans, having spent two and a half seasons with Newcastle before an excellent spell at Fulham.
Looking at the Serbia vs England odds, he is 5/2 to score at any time, while Vlahovic is 7/2 for the same bet, having netted in both Serie A games for Juventus this season versus Parma and Genoa, plus the weekend win over Latvia.
England Form Guide
It is safe to say Tuchel has yet to fully win over the England fans, despite starting his reign with four straight wins in this pool.
Early triumphs over Albania and Latvia at Wembley by an aggregate score of 5-0 augured well, but the Three Lions then laboured to a 1-0 victory over Andorra in Barcelona before losing 3-1 to Senegal in a Nottingham friendly.
Saturday’s 2-0 defeat of Andorra at Villa Park was another workmanlike performance, and the manager is now expecting to face his hardest Group K test, against a Serbia team rated 32nd in the FIFA rankings and roared on by a hostile Belgrade crowd.
“It will be a good test and we’re looking forward to it,” Tuchel said. “We feel that we are ready to step up to the atmosphere, to the physicality, and it will be an emotional game, it will be a very important game in the group. We will be prepared for that.”
The emphasis may be on keeping things tight early on, so Evens for the scores to be level at half-time is added to our Serbia vs England betting tips.
