LIVERPOOL did us a massive favour at the weekend when they played out a dire 0-0 draw with city rivals Everton in the Merseyside Derby and I expect more of the same on Tuesday when they host Tottenham at Anfield.
Both of these two sides arrive in this on in their best form of the season with Tottenham having a huge win against their fierce rivals Arsenal on Saturday and I think the efforts put into the weekends games will effect the match performance in this one.
After a shaky start to each of their seasons they are both right in the shake up for a Premier League top four finish which brings in a lucrative Champions League spot.
Liverpool have only lost once in their last 20 matches and they are always popular with BoyleSports punters but they look very short at 5/6 and I honestly couldn't play at that price.
Brendan Rodgers' side have drawn nine of those 20 matches and against a Tottenham side who have only lost two in their last 15 the stalemate does look the best option in this one at a very tempting industry best 29/10 with BoyleSports.
Nobody ever backs the draw, in any live football match and the football department at BoyleSports would have been cheering all the way to the bank after four draws from five Premier League live games at the weekend and this one again looks another tough one to split the pair.
The current form of the two is almost identical but their performances on the pitch couldn't be more further apart.
Rodgers is winning games ugly and and grinding out results after seven of the last eight Liverpool games have seen under 2.5 goals scored and in those eight matches six have seen both teams failing to score.
Tottenham fans have been enjoying their good run a little bit more in Mauricio Pochettino's sides last eight games, SEVEN have seen more than 2.5 goals scored and eight of their last 10 have seen both teams scoring.
Liverpool's under fire keeper Simon Mignolet has now gone 480 minutes without conceding a goal and if recent history against Tottenham is anything to go by that will be extended by another 90-minutes on Tuesday.
Liverpool ran out comfortably 3-0 winners at White Hart Lane earlier in the season and in their last three matches against Spurs they lead by an impressive 11-0 aggregate lead.
The problem is I don't see ANYBODY scoring in this one. Daniel Sturridge is expected to start again on the bench and until he is fully fit, I can see their lack of goals continuing.
The England international is the 9/2 BoyleSports favourite to open the scoring which will be very popular and will be slashed even more is he is named in the starting XI.
Harry Kane grabbed a brace at the weekend and the "Hurri-Cane" willl be another player that the BoyleSports punters will be getting stuck into in the first goalscorer markets at 6/1 but following on so quickly from the weekend, I think this could be a case of after the Lord Mayors Show for the BT Sport viewers and no goalscorer is much more likely for me at 11/1 with BoyleSports.
Seeley's Selections:
Under 2.5 Goals @ 11/10
No Goalscorer @ 11/1
