Liverpool face Newcastle at Anfield tonight and there really is a lot to like about the home side to win this one even at the very short 2/5 with BoyleSports.

Brendan Rodgers' side aren't in the best of form, losing their last two Premier League matches, but they are strongly expected to keep their slim top four hopes alive with a comfortable success tonight.

The visitors are 8/1 with BoyleSports to complete a first league double on Liverpool since the 1993-1994 season and I really can't see many takers.

The fizz has gone out of the Geordies since John Carver was appointed as interim manager and the rookie boss looks certain to leave at the end of the season after a run of just one win in their last eight matches.

Of all the teams in the Premier League Newcastle would be high on the list of teams you would want to be facing at the moment. Even in their local derby against Sunderland they offered nothing and if they can't get up for a game like that, what chance of they got in this one? No chance.

This fixture has a history of seeing lots of goals - it's the joint-third highest scoring fixture in the Premier League - and I'm expecting the goals to flow again tonight.""

Newcastle have conceded at least once in their last 19 Premier League games at Anfield and it's impossible to see Liverpool not scoring again.

I like over 2.5 goals in the game at BoyleSports' 8/11, but with all the goals expected to be for the home side it's probably better to play a 3-0 home win at the 8/1 with BoyleSports or even a 4-0 success which looks value at the 14/1 available as well.

Liverpool haven't been as prolific in front of goal as last season and Daniel Sturridge is the 4/1 favourite to open the scoring with BoyleSports. That price doesn't tempt me at all, but the 9/1 on Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson does.

The former Sunderland midfielder will relish the opportunity of scoring against the Geordies and at 11/4 with BoyleSports to score at anytime in the 90 minutes that looks generous as well.""

Remember "Double Bubble" - BoyleSports will double the odds on your winning first goalscorer selection if your players scores the opening goal inside the first 20 minutes.
