We have the latest RPGTV 600 odds for you after there has been a big mover in the market following racing at Shelbourne on Saturday night.
The Pat Buckley-trained powerhouse showed huge pace from trap six to take up the lead early doors and held off a challenge from runner-up Callaway Masters between the final two bends.
Ed was never going to be beaten though as the 1/3 favourite justified his short odds to win by three lengths in a time of 32.35. Callaway Masters is 14/1 with third place Barefoot Supremo 12/1.
He is joined by Toolmaker Wilde, who finished second to surprise winner Glengar Bridie at 6/1. Toolmaker tried his best to close the gap after Glengar Bridie took an early lead but was denied by half a length. Bridie is now 20/1 from 25/1.
Ballyhooly Hi was the other heat winner with his chances rated at 25/1 with BoyleSports after he won in 32.93 for trainer Tom O’Neill.
Sarah Kinsella, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented:
“Ballinabola Ed seemed to relish his spin over the extra few yards at Shelbourne and he’s now red-hot odds-on to win the RPGTV 600. There has been plenty of support for Clonbrien Treaty to win the BoyleSports Irish Grehound Derby this year too, so we are taking no chances at this stage.”
