We have Royal Ascot tips for you as we get ever closer to the start of one of the biggest events in the flat racing calendar.

Antepost liabilities are building here at BoyleSports ahead of the five-day betting bonanza that awaits us.

Royal Ascot Tips

Kyprios A Public Darling Ahead of Royal Ascot

Kyprios remains the best-backed horse ahead of Royal Ascot next week with bookies BoyleSports, as the six-year-old is now just 4/5 to take the festival feature, the Ascot Gold Cup.

With Aidan O’Brien sending his customary strong team to the Berkshire venue, Kyprios is already the centrepiece on a significant number of antepost accumulators across the five days, as the bookies brace themselves for a possible onslaught if the number of winning favourites begins to snowball.

The festival is set to kick off on Tuesday, with the Queen Anne the first of 35 races set to be run at the track across the five days of the Royal festival. Inspiral, who was second in the race last year, has proven a popular selection and has seen her odds cut into 11/4 from 5/1 as she bids to bounce back from a disappointing run in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.

With eight Group Ones across the meeting, 2,000 Guineas winner Notable Speech is a well-fancied 5/4 favourite to confirm superiority over Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Rosallion (2/1) in the St James’ Palace Stakes while 1,000 Guineas winner Elmalka is 9/2 to get the better of Opera Singer (5/2) and Fallen Angel (7/2) as they step up to a mile-and-a-quarter in Friday’s Coronation Stakes.

Auguste Rodin has also been the subject of significant support as the Breeders’ Cup and dual-Derby winner bids to avenge his defeat at the hands of White Birch in last month’s Tattersalls Gold Cup in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes. The five-time Group One winner had been as big as 6/1 early last week but is now 6/4 favourite ahead of White Birch (9/4).

Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:

“With less than a week to go to Royal Ascot, the countdown is firmly on as our liabilities begin to build. If the favourites start hitting the winners’ enclosure early, it could be a long five days but it’s Thursday that could make or break the week for the bookies and the punters with Kyprios lining up in the Gold Cup.”
