For the 2nd time in 3 years BoyleSports Racing Ambassador Robbie Power was Top Jockey at the Aintree festival.
Speaking in his BoyleSports Blog he had praise for trainers Colin Tizzard and Jessica Harrington;
Power kicked off his week with a win on Supasundae in the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle ahead of favourite Buveur D’Air and continued on his good form into the weekend.
Lostintranslation bested favourite Topofthegame in the Grade 1 Mildmay Novices Chase on Friday.
“He’s a horse I’ve always thought an awful lot of. It was the right time to step him up to 3 miles. We always knew that step up would bring huge improvements and it was a very, very good performance.”
Saturday saw another Grade 1 win on Reserve Tank in the Mersey Novices’ Hurdle.
“He’s a horse that could be anything – he’ll probably go novice chasing next season. He’s an exciting horse to look forward to.”
