A packed Ennis Road venue saw the Treaty side score 30 points, but nineteen wides may leave the door ajar for Clare when the two sides meet for the third consecutive year in the Munster final next weekend, with Clare rated as 9/4 underdogs to win their first provincial championship since 1998.

Limerick’s chances of a historic five-in-a-row All-Ireland triumph have also been bolstered by Galway bowing out after a defeat at the hands of Dublin on Sunday. The Dubs will now clash with Kilkenny in the Leinster final, with a place in the All-Ireland semi-final awaiting the winner.
Dublin are 11/4 to end a 12-year provincial drought, with the Cats short-priced 1/4 favourites to claim a 76 th Leinster title and rated as one of Limerick’s main threats for the Liam MacCarthy Cup .
Other Contenders
Limerick are now just 4/6 to become the first team to win five All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships in a row, with Cork rated the likeliest county to upset the applecart at 4/1. Clare and Kilkenny, who could both claim provincial championships in the coming weeks are rated as 11/2 chances, with Dublin and Wexford needing to spring surprises at 33/1.
