Bryan Mbeumo
Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo is now 28/1 with BOYLE Sports to finish as the Premier League’s top goalscorer this season after finding his shooting boots in October.
Mbeumo failed to score in all five fixtures for club and country in September, drawing blanks against the likes of Manchester City and his former club Brentford, but things have looked very different this month.
He struck in Cameroon’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Mauritius and has netted three times in two matches for United since returning from international duty. The 26-year-old put Ruben Amorim's men ahead inside two minutes of their 2-1 win at Liverpool before grabbing a brace in Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Brighton.
That not only helped United record three successive Premier League wins for the first time since February 2024, but it also moved him on to four goals for the campaign.
Erling Haaland
Who Can Catch Haaland?
Mbeumo, who finished fourth in the scoring charts last season with 20 goals for Brentford, is still seven goals behind runaway leader Erling Haaland despite the Manchester City forward being unable to continue his phenomenal form at Aston Villa on Sunday.
Haaland stepped out at Villa Park having scored 24 goals in just 14 appearances for City and Norway this season, including finding the back of the net in 12 successive games. He saw that run come to an end as City slumped to a 1-0 loss, but the 26-year-old remains five goals clear of anybody else in the top flight and is 1/5 to finish top of the pile.
Last season’s Golden Boot winner Mohamed Salah is joint-second favourite at 18/1 to walk off with the prize again, the same odds as Arsenal’s Viktor Gyokeres with both players on three goals so far.
Best of the Rest
Best of the Rest
Currently, Haaland’s nearest challengers are Igor Thiago and Antoine Semenyo, with the Brentford forward joining the Bournemouth man on six goals with his penalty in the Bees’ 3-2 win over Liverpool.
Danny Welbeck’s brilliant free-kick for Brighton at Old Trafford was his fifth goal of the season and saw him draw level with Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta. Semenyo is fourth favourite with BOYLE Sports at 20/1 while Welbeck and Mateta can both be backed at 100/1.
Among the big-money summer signings, Hugo Ekitike is 28/1 while Alexander Isak is 40/1 alongside Joao Pedro and Nick Woltemade, with Benjamin Sesko 66/1.
