Wolves Cut For Drop
Wolves have been cut from 9/4 to 6/4 in BOYLE Sports' Premier League relegation odds after starting out with two straight defeats.
Wanderers followed up a 4-0 home drubbing by Manchester City with a 1-0 loss at Bournemouth, where they fell behind after just four minutes and later had Toti Gomes sent off. Head coach Vitor Pereira accused his players of failing to stick to his game plan and being too timid after the latest reversal at Vitality Stadium.
“The plan was very clear for us: to not build our play in the middle, to build the play from the sides,” said Pereira. “Football is like this. You can prepare everything, but after four minutes, we make a pass in the middle, we build in the middle, we lost the ball, and they scored. “I think this goal creates a negative impact in our team because when I watch the game, I was feeling the team was shy on the pitch and with some difficulties to go out of this pressure.”

West Ham
Bowen Vows To Lift Irons
West Ham are the only other team with zero points after losing 5-1 at home to Chelsea on Friday night, and the Hammers are 7/4 to go down.
Captain Jarrod Bowen commented: “I’m angry and disappointed – all the emotions that come with having conceded eight goals in two games and not picked up a point yet. “Myself as captain, I’m fuming with how the first couple of weeks have gone. I share the responsibility, and now it’s down to me to try and help get a reaction out of the players.”

Burnley Favourites For Relegation
Burnley remain favourites to fall at 1/3, but they got off the mark with a 2-0 triumph over fellow new-boys Sunderland at Turf Moor, where Josh Cullen and Jaidon Anthony struck.
Clarets boss Scott Parker declared: "It’s humongous for us and to get three points on the board and within the second game, a game at home as well, I’m delighted. I’m really happy. “I’m absolutely buzzing, first and foremost, for the players and for the fans and everyone involved. I thought we were brilliant. “I asked the lads to show a real endeavour, to show an impetus, let’s get these supporters right behind us. And I thought we did that. I thought we were well worthy of the three points.”

Black Cats Receive Reality Check
Sunderland were brought back down to earth after an opening win over West Ham and are 8/13 for a quick return to the Championship.
Manager Regis Le Bris said: “I’m disappointed because I think we started well, our first half was positive, created two chances, we were in our game plan, and we dominated. “But at the beginning of the second half, we made this small mistake and conceded the goal, and after that, the game changed completely."
There was also a wake-up call for the other promoted team as Leeds were thrashed 5-0 at Arsenal and are now 9/4 for the drop. Brentford enjoyed a 1-0 success versus Aston Villa in front of their own fans and are out to 9/4 in the Premier League relegation odds.
