Arsenal’s odds of being crowned champions for the first time in over two decades have been cut to 1/6 with BOYLE Sports following a potentially key weekend in the Premier League title race.
The leaders moved six points clear after thrashing Leeds 4-0 on Saturday for their first win in four league games before seeing Manchester City and Aston Villa both surprisingly drop points 24 hours later.
Man City
Man City
Second-placed City surrendered a 2-0 half-time lead to draw at Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham , while third-placed Villa were beaten 1-0 at home by a Brentford side who played over half the match with a man less.
Pep Guardiola’s men have now drifted to 9/2 in the Premier League outright winner odds , while Villa , who slipped a point behind City , have fallen from 14/1 before this round of matches to 40/1 to finish top of the pile.
Man United
Red Devils Rising
Villa’s title odds are now the same as Manchester United , who continued their flying start under Michael Carrick with a thrilling 3-2 win over Fulham . Benjamin Sesko’s stoppage-time clincher at Old Trafford made it three wins out of three under caretaker boss Carrick and saw them reclaim fourth spot, five points behind Villa .
They are still a massive 12 points behind Arsenal , but, with 14 matches left and no other competitions to distract them, unlike their rivals, United will hope to make further progress.
Carrick said: "The supporters have gone home happy and looking forward to the next one, but we're not getting too far ahead of ourselves. "We can play better than we played (against Fulham ) and there is a lot more to come from us in different aspects of the game."

Best Of The Rest
Behind that quartet, Chelsea and Liverpool are 150/1 to get their hands on the Premier League trophy , down from 150/1 and 250/1 respectively, after successful weekends.
Like United, Chelsea have looked rejuvenated under a new boss and claimed a stoppage-time 3-2 victory of their own on Saturday, Enzo Fernandez’s last-gasp strike seeing off West Ham. The Blues have won six out of seven matches under Liam Rosenior and are a point behind Carrick’s side.
Defending champions Liverpool are one point behind the fifth-placed Blues after thrashing Newcastle 4-1, but have been struggling for consistency. Liverpool have only lost once in 16 matches, but four draws and a defeat in their last six Premier League fixtures mean they haven’t been able to build up a head of steam domestically.
Arne Slot’s men host Manchester Cit y next weekend while Arsenal face Sunderland in what could be another big round in the title race.
