Peter Wright v Gary Anderson
“Looking ahead to night thirteen in Glasgow and kicking things off are the opening quarter-final are Peter Wright and Gary Anderson in an all-Scottish affair. I can’t look beyond Peter Wright here. Whilst his form is patchy and he didn’t do well at the Euro Tour at the weekend, he should have enough. It won’t be the same pressure on Peter as it is all on Gary, especially in front of a home crowd. I think there will be a lot of respect in this. Gary was nervous in Aberdeen and Peter just has a little bit more quality. I can see it go all the way, but with Peter having the darts I can’t see anything other than a Snakebite win.”

Jonny Clayton v James Wade
“Awaiting Peter Wright will be the winner of Jonny Clayton and James Wade and I think the Ferret will beat the Machine. Jonny has the darts and he is more determined than people think. He will take his chance at getting a little bit of revenge here and stay top of the table. If Jonny had the darts in the final last week in Dublin, then I think he might have won that. It was a great final and this will be a great game, but it’s the Ferret for me to go through and face Peter Wright in the semi-finals.”

Gerwyn Price v Michael Smith
“The third quarter-final is between Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith. This is the toughest pick of the night. There were positives from both of them last week, but they were steamrolled in their semi-finals. I was impressed with Michael Smith last week. Gerwyn is slowly but surely coming back to form after his hand injury, but I think Bully Boy will just edge it here. He has played some good stuff and is unlucky to be where he is in the table. When he gets it right in terms of scoring doubles on the night, he is one of the world’s best and he just hasn’t been getting it right often enough. I think he will sneak this one against the Iceman. He has probably left it too late to make the play-offs, but I can see him win this match.”

Michael van Gerwen v Joe Cullen
“The last quarter-final sees Michal van Gerwen take on the Rockstar. I expect Joe to play better here as he had a shocker last week and he admitted that himself. It was just one of the nights, he will play better. The only time he has beaten MVG in the Premier League was in Michael’s own back garden when he won in Rotterdam. I think Michael will win this as he has been playing some good stuff. He is winning more often now, so I think he will face Michael Smith in the semi-finals.”
“From there I can’t see anything other than a Michael van Gerwen win. He looked good at the weekend when winning his 34th Euro Title at the Austrian Darts Open, beating Danny Noppert 8-5. I still fancy MVG to win the overall title with his odds at 2/1 favourite to claim his sixth Premier League title.”

Charity Bet for Parkinson’s UK
BoyleSports have offered Webster a £200 charity bet for every week of the Premier League. He has chosen Michael van Gerwen to win Night 13 with proceeds going to Parkinson’s UK. There is already £1,300 in the kitty, so hopefully more can be added on Thursday evening.
