In this post, you can find all our Premier League Darts Night 16 tips and odds ahead of the first night of action.
Format
The Premier League is a race to six legs at all stages of the tournament in the first 16 weeks.
Each nightly winner takes five points, with the beaten finalist picking up three and the losing semi-finalists two each. If a participant doesn’t win their opening game, they’ll receive zero points.
The top four in the table at the end of week 16 will advance to the playoffs, where two semi-finals and finals will decide a winner.
Premier League Darts Night 16 Quarter-Finals Preview
Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting – 7.15 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Luke Littler | 1/4 | 80% |
Stephen Bunting | 14/5 | 26.3% |
Luke Littler averaged a staggering 115.96 last week to beat Luke Humphries 6-3 and secure top spot in the Premier League in advance of the playoffs. He then lost out in a 6-5 thriller against Chris Dobey, which means his record is now 24 wins and 10 defeats so far in the competition and with that consistency, it’s no surprise he’s 10/11 favourite for the outright competition.
Stephen Bunting is bottom of the Premier League with very little to play for other than the chance to finish the league phase not bottom. Last week he opened with a 4-6 win over Gerwyn Price before losing 6-1 to Nathan Aspinall, where interestingly he averaged marginally higher, 94.82 in his first game and then 95.63
Best Bet: Night 16 Winner Luke Littler – 5/4
Night 16 Winner Luke Littler - 5/4
Nathan Aspinall vs Michael van Gerwen – 7.45 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Nathan Aspinall | EVS | 50% |
Michael van Gerwen | 4/5 | 55.6% |
Aspinall won Night 15 of the Premier League last Thursday Night following a 3-6 triumph over Michael van Gerwen, a 6-1 dismantling of Stephen Bunting and another comprehensive dismantling of Chris Dobey again by a 6-1 scoreline. That run puts him in the driving seat for a playoff spot, and he can secure it by beating Michael van Gerwen in this game.
MVG may be a 7 time Premier League winner (2013. 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2014, 2022 and 2023) but its now do or die for his 2025 hopes, nothing but a victory on Night 16 will suffice to catch his opponent for this game if he’s to snatch back the final playoff spot. It’s easier said than done, though, as MVG, along with Cross, is one of only two players not to win a single Night of the competition this year.

Luke Humphries vs Rob Cross – 8.15 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Luke Humphries | 4/9 | 69.2% |
Rob Cross | 13/8 | 38.1% |
Luke Humphries is locked into second place in advance of the playoffs, though the identity of his opponent will not be known until Night 16 in the competition concludes. Last week, he lost out 6-3 to Luke Littler at the first hurdle, but that doesn’t tell the full story. With him averaging 110.01, it was still not enough to match Littler’s 115.96. He will want to go into the playoffs in good form, though, and so another tonne average is completely plausible with his ability.
“Voltage” Rob Cross (34) is still the only player in the Premier League this season not to have reached the final of any night. Last week, he lost out at the first hurdle 6-2 to Chris Dobey, who leapfrogged him on the Premier League table. With 7 wins from 22 matches, it’s very hard to see him winning any game on his final night of his 2025 Premier League campaign..
Best Bet: Luke Humphries – 4/9
Luke Humphries - 4/9
Gerwyn Price vs Chris Dobey – 8.45 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Gerwyn Price | 4/6 | 60% |
Chris Dobey | 23/20 | 46.5% |
"The Ice Man" may have been beaten 4-6 by Bunting at the first hurdle last Thursday Night, but he did still manage a Nine-Dart Finish. Though his playoff place is secured, there is still work to be done if he wants to avoid a semi-final vs Luke Littler, which would go a long way in helping him try to improve on his runner-up result from 2023
Though Dobey made a run to the final last week, winning 6-2 against Rob Cross with an average of 107.08 and a 6-5 win over Luke Littler, averaging 97.89. He fell at the final hurdle, losing 6-1 to Nathan Aspinall to deny him his second night victory after winning on Night 11 too. He’s little to play for too though, he could still theoretically finish level on points with Michael van Gerwen.
Best Bet: Gerwyn Price – 4/6
