Former World Darts Champion and Sky Sports analyst Mark Webster has spoken to BoyleSports’ Sarah Kinsella this week to run the rule over another anticipated night of action in the Premier League as it moves to Newcastle to crown the 16th nightly winner, with just the playoffs in Berlin remaining.
The darts pro is predicting the defending Premier League champion Jonny Clayton to have an epic night in the Utilita Arena and has tipped his fellow Welshman and best friend up at 3/1 to win night sixteen.

Jonny Clayton v Gary Anderson
“Looking ahead to night sixteen in Newcastle and kicking things off in the opening quarter-final are Jonny Clayton and Gary Anderson. I think Jonny will win here and book his spot in the semi-finals.
"He is riding the crest of the wave now and there won’t be any pressure on him. I was teasing him that he should have the night off on Thursday and just enjoy the night, but the professional in him just wants to win again.”
Joe Cullen v Peter Wright
“Awaiting Jonny will be the winner of Joe Cullen and Peter Wright. This is the game of the night.
"It’s like a final itself really as the winner of this grabs the last spot in the playoffs in Berlin next month. I’m going to stick with Joe, although I’m not as confident as I was a few hours ago as Peter Wright played some good stuff in the European Grand Prix in Stuttgart at the weekend.
"This is teed up to be a fantastic game, but I think the Rockstar will go through and play the Ferret in the semi-finals.”

Michael van Gerwen v Michael Smith
“The third quarter-final is between Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith. Smith beat MVG last week and I think it will be another good game, but I think Mighty Mike will beat the Bully Boy this time.”
James Wade v Gerwyn Price
“The last quarter-final sees James Wade take on Gerwyn Price and I fancy the Iceman to win here. Wade has been under the weather and he is going to need a bit of time to get back to form.
"I think it’s good that they have a bit of a break until the playoffs so he can take that time to get himself going again. He had a serious illness that we hope he gets over soon. I think Price will win and face MVG in the semi-finals.
“From there I can’t see anything other than a Jonny Clayton win. I think he will get the better of Joe Cullen in the semi-finals and beat Michael van Gerwen in the final.
"This could be a dress rehearsal for the final in Berlin. I fancy the Ferret to win the overall title, continue his dominance in this Premier League and successfully defend his crown with his odds at 9/4. I think it will be a justified way to end the Premier League.”
