Format
The Premier League is a race to six legs at all stages of the tournament in the first 16 weeks.
Each nightly winner takes five points, with the beaten finalist picking up three and the losing semi-finalists two each. If a participant doesn’t win their opening game, they’ll receive zero points.
The top four in the table at the end of week 16 will advance to the playoffs, where two semi-finals and finals will decide a winner.

Michael van Gerwen vs Nathan Aspinall – 7.15 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Michael van Gerwen | 8/13 | 61.9% |
Nathan Aspinall | 6/5 | 45.5% |
MVG is a serial winner in the Premier League, winning it 7 times (2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023). However, with two regular nights left in the competition before the playoffs begin, his place in them is not guaranteed, with him currently in the final playoff spot, 1 point ahead of his opponent in this game. He will need to at least go one better than his 4-6 quarter-final exit last week against Luke Humphries.
Aspinall is another who lost out at the first hurdle last week to an eventual finalist on the night, this time 4-6 against Luke Littler. Though his average of 95.81 was higher than his opponent's 91.41 and higher than MVG’s losing average of 92.08. He’s been unlucky these last three weeks, being knocked out by Littler twice and Humphries once.
Best Bet: Nathan Aspinall – 6/5

Gerwyn Price vs Stephen Bunting – 7.45 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Gerwyn Price | 4/6 | 60% |
Stephen Bunting | 23/20 | 46.5% |
"The Ice Man" secured his spot in the Premier League playoffs last Thursday Night when he overcame Rob Cross in a 5-6 slug fest, though his win was likely deserved with him averaging 94.16 to his opponent's 88.76. His night ended on the second hurdle, though, when he lost 3-6 to Luke Littler, who outscored his 97.82 average with a 104.29. Price is now playing to try and avoid Littler in the playoffs.
Stephen Bunting remains bottom of the Premier League and following his semi-final defeat last week, 6-4 against Luke Humphries. However, he did put in a heroic effort, winning his first game of the night 6-5 against Chris Dobey despite averaging only 97.46 to his 99.43. Bunting can still have his say in the event, and a few wins these next few weeks could likely see him get up to 6th.
Best Bet : Gerwyn Price – 4/6
Gerwyn Price - 4/6
Chris Dobey vs Rob Cross – 8.15 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Chris Dobey | 20/21 | 51.2% |
Rob Cross | 4/5 | 55.6% |
Dobey is another who has struggled in this Premier League format with 7 wins and 13 defeats following his 6-5 defeat to Stephen Bunting last Thursday Night. However, he’s still not eliminated from the competition and could leapfrog his opponent into 7th with a win and a run to the final or another victory would put him right back into the playoff predicament going into the final night before the playoffs.
“Voltage” Rob Cross (34) is still the only player in the Premier League this season not to have reached the final of any night. Last week, he lost out 5-6 to Gerwyn Price, though his average of 88.76 suggested that maybe the scoreline flattered him. He finally needs a final run, or he could be eliminated.
Best Bet: Rob Cross – 4/5
Rob Cross - 4/5
Luke Littler vs Luke Humphries – 8.45 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Luke Littler | 4/7 | 63.6% |
Luke Humphries | 13/10 | 43.5% |
Luke Littler sits on top of the Premier League table, 7 points clear of Luke Humphries, though the gap was cut by 2 points last Thursday Night. Despite a run to the final where he won 4-6 against Nathan Aspinall and 3-6 against Gerwyn Price, he lost out in the final to his major rival 5-6 after hitting an average of 99.89 to his opponents' 100.96.
Luke Humphries' victory last Thursday on Night 15 was his first since Night 4, which and his victory on Night 1 of the competition. It’s been his all-around consistency at reaching the final which has him comfortably in second spot, having been runner-up on Nights 2, 8, 10 and 12 also. z
