Luke Littler sits on top of the Premier League table with 4 Nights remaining before the playoffs begin following 26 wins and 18 defeats to put him on 30 points 4 clear of Luke Humphries. The scouse crowd in Liverpool proved too much for the Man United fans losing  6-5 in his opening match against Michael van Gerwen with both averaging 95.53 to 98.77 respectively.

It's effectively do or die for Stephen Bunting with 4 Nights remaining he’s bottom of the league with only 8 points from the opening 12 Nights of the competition. He was knocked out last week at the first hurdle 6-1 against Rob Cross where he performed disappointingly averaging only 91.01 to his opponent's 100.05. He has come into form recently though and has 1 Night win and 1 runner-up finish in these last four weeks.

Aspinall (33) has been hit and miss-in the Premier League this season with 10 victories and 11 defeats from 21 games. That form has him in the final playoff spot on 17 points though Michael van Gerwen is directly below him with 17, Cross has 14 and Dobey has 12 so it’s still very much to play for in the next few weeks. Though he lost 6-3 to Luke Humphries last week it was a high-quality game with averages of 113.50 to his 104.03

Following Dobey’s runner-up finish on Night 1 what followed was consecutive quarter-final exists before his semi-final on Night 7. Since then he has won Night 11 and had 2 semi-final results. “Voltage” Rob Cross (34) is the only player left in the Premier League this year who has yet to reach the final of any night with 7 semi-final results and 5 early quarter-final exits. Last Thursday Night was a Night of two halves winning his opening game 6-1 against Stephen Bunting averaging 100.05 before losing to Gerwyn Price 2-6 where he only averaged 86.51.

Van Gerwen (35) loves the Premier League having won it in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. However, the 2025 iteration of the event has been less fruitful for him yet to win a single night of this year's event coming closest at Night 7 in Cardiff when he beat Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey before losing to Luke Littler 4-6 with him averaging 101.41 to Littler’s 112.50. Last week he won 6-5 against Luke Littler despite averaging only 95.53 before losing to Luke Humphries 6-4 when he averaged 98.21.
