Premier League Darts Night 12 Quarter-Finals Preview
Luke Humphries vs Nathan Aspinall – 7.15 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Luke Humphries | 1/2 | 66.7% |
Nathan Aspinall | 29/20 | 40.8% |
Luke Humphries (30) currently sits second in the Premier League on 23 points, 7 points behind Luke Littler but 6 ahead of Nathan Aspinall. While he won #1 and #4 in the opening 4 weeks, coming into Night 12 he is without an outright night win in his last 8 nights. Last week he put in a disappointing showing getting knocked out in his opening match against Chris Dobey (100.49) 6-3 (90.17). He remains in contention to go better than his runner-up run in 2024.
Aspinall (33) has been hit and miss in the Premier League this season with 10 victories and 10 defeats from his 20 games. However, he’s been more consistent in recent weeks with only 1 first round exit, 1 victory and semi-finals including last week when he first beat Gerwyn Price 3-6 and then lost 6-2 to eventual night winner Chris Dobey.
Best Bet: Nathan Aspinall – 29/20

Michael van Gerwen vs Luke Littler – 7.45 pm
Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Michael van Gerwen | 15/8 | 34.8% |
Luke Littler | 2/5 | 71.4% |
Van Gerwen (35) loves the Premier League having won it in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. However, the 2025 iteration of the event has been less fruitful for him yet to win a single night of this year's event coming closest at Night 7 in Cardiff when he beat Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey before losing to Luke Littler 4-6 with him averaging 101.41 to Littler’s 112.50.
There’s nothing little about the achievements of Luke Littler on the darting scene and on his debut at the event last year he topped the table before winning the competition outright. At this year’s event he has 4 Night victories but is now without a night victory in the last three weeks including last week when following his 6-5 opening game against Rob Cross with both averaging 108.56 and 110.15 respectively he then lost in another thriller 6-5 to Stephen Bunting with averages of 106.43 and 101.9 between them.
Best Bet : Luke Littler 6-4 - 9/2

Rob Cross vs Stephen Bunting – 8.15 pm

Stephen Bunting | 3/4 | 57.1% |
“Voltage” Rob Cross (34) is the only player left in the Premier League this year who has yet to reach the final of any night with 6 semi-final finishes and 5 early quarter-final exits including 3 consecutive ones in recent weeks. Last weekend he was unfortunate to lose though coming out the wrong end of a 6-5 thriller to Luke Littler after averaging 110.15 to his opponents 108.56.
Stephen Bunting's (39) early days had a terrible return to the Premier League being knocked out at the first hurdle in 8/8 of the first nights. However, more recently he’s started to come to form winning night 9 and though he was knocked out in the first round on night 10 he bounced back for a runner-up finish last week after beating Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler he lost 6-2 to Chris Dobey in the final.
Best Bet: Rob Cross - EVS

Player | Odds | Chance |
---|---|---|
Gerwyn Price | 7/10 | 58.8% |
Chris Dobey | 11/10 | 47.6% |
"The Ice Man" is a former Premier League finalist when he was defeated 11-5 by Michael van Gerwen in 2023. At the event this year, he has a record of 8 wins and 9 defeats which has him currently 4th in the table with his best performances being when he won Night 3 and Night 6. Last week he lost his second consecutive opening game loss this time losing 3-6 against Nathan Aspinall.
Before this season’s Premier League, Chris Dobey’s best finish was a 7th-placed one in 2023. While he opened this season with a runner-up result in Night 1 what followed was 5 consecutive early-night exits. Following a few semi-final appearances he reclaimed form last week winning his first night of this year's event after wins over Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting.
