Former World Darts Champion and Sky Sports analyst Mark Webster has joined BoyleSports to run the rule over the first night of action in the Premier League in Cardiff.
The Welsh capital prepares to showcase the radical new eight-player knockout format and crown the first nightly winner of the revamped event.
“The Premier League is upon us and eight of the world’s best players are kicking things off in Cardiff with an exciting new format," said Webster.
“The opening match is interesting with newly crowned Masters champion Joe Cullen taking on the defending Premier League champion Jonny Clayton.

"It will be a close one I expect, but Clayton with that home crowd behind him, I expect him to get the better of Cullen.
“The other Welshman in action is Gerwyn Price, who missed the Premier League last year of course and was replaced by his opponent in Cardiff, James Wade. Gerwyn, for me, is going to have too much and set up and all-Welsh semi-final with Clayton for the home crowd.
“Peter Wright was out of sorts at the Masters last week and for me, Michael Smith will exact a bit of revenge here in the rematch of the World Championship Final.

"The final match of the night is a battle of two former world champions with Gary Anderson taking on Michael van Gerwen. Both need to find some form.
"They need this Premier League to kickstart their year and I could see a close, nervy encounter, but I expect van Gerwen to come through it.
“The new format means there will be two more semi-finals and a final and I’m expecting Jonny Clayton to be victorious on night one in front of a home crowd.”
