Premier League Saturday ACCA Tips
Evens Tip #1
WOLVES NOT TO LOSE AT BOURNEMOUTH @ EVENS
Wanderers were ultimately hammered 4-0 by Manchester City on home turf last week but did have their moments in that match.
Marshall Munetsi had a goal ruled out for offside at 0-0, while Jorgen Strand Larsen was a handful and had two fair chances.
Bournemouth admittedly showed plenty of encouraging signs going forward in a 4-2 loss at Liverpool but it is worth noting that Wolves have gone five Premier League trips to Vitality Stadium without tasting defeat - and only went out on penalties in the FA Cup here last term!
5/2 Tip #2
BRENTFORD & ASTON VILLA TO DRAW @ 5/2
Villa managed to hold out for a goalless draw with Newcastle first up, even after going down to 10 men on 66 minutes, but it was a pretty underwhelming performance in terms of attacking intent.
Unai Emery’s side finished a fine sixth in the table last season but are missing Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio and Jacob Ramsey from that squad and it showed.
Brentford got going too late in a 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest but a second-half consolation goal from the penalty spot gave them something to build on.
Two of their last five encounters with Villa have ended in stalemate and a couple of the losses were only by the narrowest of margins, so we’re backing the Bees to secure a share of the spoils.
6/10 Tip #3
BURNLEY VS SUNDERLAND UNDER 2.5 GOALS @ 6/10
Sunderland invested heavily in their squad after gaining promotion via the play-offs and received an instant reward with a superb 3-0 success versus West Ham at the Stadium of Light.
Regis Le Bris is a very likeable head coach who clearly wants to play in a positive manner, but Turf Moor is always a tricky place to visit and different tactics could be adopted in testing conditions.
Burnley will no doubt be determined to keep it tight following a tough 3-0 reversal at Tottenham and don’t forget this same fixture was goalless in the Championship last term, while the Black Cats won just 1-0 when they met on Wearside.
9/5 Tip #4
ARSENAL TO BEAT LEEDS 1-0, 2-0 OR 2-1 @ 9/5
The Gunners had to dig deep at times to grind out a 1-0 victory at Manchester United but a rock-solid display by keeper David Raya and some stoic last-ditch defending saw them through.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admitted his team looked a little rusty at Old Trafford but they will still be hot favourites to win their first home match for a fourth straight season.
Last term it was a 2-0 triumph over Wolves and the season before saw them edge out Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Emirates Stadium, so the omens are good for going with this bet again in our Premier League acca tips.
