Ireland won Pool D of the Rugby World Cup after a sensational win over France at the Millennium Stadium.

As Joe Schmidt’s men look to their quarter final clash with Argentina they can be backed at 9/1 to win the tournament outright.

Not only have France felt the sting of an Irish defeat but have been pushed out to 33/1 from 12/1 as they head into the quarter finals.

Argentina also saw victory on Sunday with a 64-19 win over Nambia and are priced at 20/1 from 33/1 to win the Rugby World Cup for the first time.

Reigning Champions New Zealand remain top of the betting to at 6/5 with Australia on offer at 13/5 and South Africa priced at 5/1. Also remaining in the tournament are Wales and Scotland, who are 33/1 and 200/1 respectively.
