There is a new name at the head of the betting for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham after Paisley Park put in an eye-catching display at the Prestbury Park track on Saturday.

The 7-year-old justified 10/3 favouritism and romped home in the Cleeve Hurdle to win by 12 lengths from West Approach with Black Op back in third. BoyleSports reacted immediately to the impressive performance by cutting the Emma Lavelle’s Grade 1 winner into 4/1 from 10/1, but as the support continued, he is now just 3/1 to follow up at the Festival.

The move has seen him leapfrog the likes of Supasundae (8/1) and Penhill, who had previously headed the market at 5/1.""

Elegant Escape meanwhile was the one who stole the hearts of punters in the Cotswold Chase after just failing to catch Frodon in the closing stages.

Paul Nicholls’ winner remained at a best-priced 33/1 with BoyleSports in the Gold Cup antepost market, while Elegant Escape went from 25/1 into 20/1 after rallying strongly after the last fence to finish a close 2nd.
