Gallaghers backed to go all around the world again
Oasis may be about to jet off for the international leg of their Live ’25 reunion tour, but punters are already speculating that another run of shows are part of the masterplan for 2026.
BOYLE Sports has cut the odds on the Gallagher brothers returning with another tour next year, with Slane Castle emerging as the prime candidate to host an Irish gig following two sold-out blockbusters at Croke Park last weekend.
Slane Return On The Cards
Rumours earlier this month suggested organisers were in talks to host a major concert at the County Meath venue in 2026, which first hosted Oasis when they backed up American rockers R.E.M. in 1995.
While Noel Gallagher dodged the issue this week when quizzed on a 2026 return, odds on Oasis playing Slane next year are now just 6/4 (from 5/1), while a follow-up world tour being announced next year is odds-on at 1/2.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said:
“Croke Park was absolutely bouncing when Oasis took to the stage and speculation is mounting that the lads will seize the momentum. It’s clear that the fans are hungry for more and the odds suggest a 2026 tour could soon move from a maybe to a definitely.”
