With the 2026 NFL Draft done and free agency all but sorted, this feels like a good time to make some early Super Bowl 61 winner predictions.
Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, marking the second time in five years that the venue has hosted the NFL's showpiece event.
We're allowing ourselves three picks from the 32-strong field, including one of the ante-post favourites and a couple of value selections expected to at least improve on last season's efforts.

Drafting quarterback Ty Simpson as a potential long-term replacement for 38-year-old MVP Matthew Stafford was a bit of a luxury pick but that only highlights how strong the Rams already were.
At times last term, Los Angeles looked unstoppable going forward and all they need is for star wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams to return mentally and physically sound to again excel on that side of the ball.
Defence was an issue late on in the regular season and during the play-offs, ending in a 31-27 loss at Seattle in the NFC Championship game, but the capture of cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson can help rejuvenate that department and make the Rams a more complete unit.
With Super Bowl LXI being staged at SoFi Stadium , Sean McVay's side could end up having home advantage, and the last time this venue hosted the decider in 2022 the Rams lifted the Vince Lombardi Trophy!
Dallas Cowboys @ 25/1
The Cowboys were guilty of being even more lopsided last season, boasting one of the NFL's best offences but conceding the highest number of points in the whole competition to finish with a 7-9-1 record.
Dallas addressed some of their problems in free agency but then really went to town during the draft, getting great value in the shape of outstanding safety Caleb Downs before bringing in explosive edge-rushers Malachi Lawrence and Jaishawn Barham .
New defensive coordinator Christian Parker built up a big reputation in junior roles at Green Bay , Denver and Philadelphia , where he specialised in developing younger players, so the hope is that this revitalised squad can all grow up together.
If that expected improvement comes soon enough, an offence led by Dak Prescott and featuring star performers George Pickens , CeeDee Lamb and Javonte Williams will always be capable of holding up their end, so 15/8 for them to win the NFC East certainly appeals.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ 40/1
The Glazer family will have breathed a sigh of relief after Manchester United got back on track in the Premier League this season and the Buccaneers are fancied to follow suit under the same ownership.
After racing out to a 6-2 start in 2025, injuries and a dip in form by QB Baker Mayfield took their toll on Tampa Bay as they slipped to 8-9 and just missed out on the play-offs.
However, head coach Todd Bowles has a good young squad when healthy, especially after landing proven pass-rusher Rueben Bain Jr in the draft, and the Bucs can benefit from playing in a weak division alongside the Carolina Panthers , the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints .
Having won the NFC South for four straight years prior to last term's near miss, 10/11 for Tampa Bay to at least get straight back into the play-offs is a rock-solid bet in our book.
