The Colts have capitalised on a kind schedule and are sitting pretty at 8-2 but their last two performances have been underwhelming, going down 27-20 at Pittsburgh and only scraping past Atlanta in overtime in Berlin .

The reigning Super Bowl champions are well placed to make a strong defence of their title after improving to 8-2 with a run of four straight wins, the last couple of which have come against other leading contenders to go all the way in Green Bay and Detroit .
Philadelphia still look short of last season’s form on offence but their defence has been fired up by acquiring athletic edge rusher Jaelan Phillips in a bargain trade and conceding just 16 points in two tough games against the Packers and the Lions was a statement of intent.

Dallas can never be discounted due to some explosive attacking weapons but beating the lowly Las Vegas Raiders last weekend hasn’t erased the memories of damaging defeats by Denver and Arizona , so we’re sticking with the Eagles as a percentage pick.

The Rams are joint-favourites with the Eagles for Super Bowl glory after securing five straight wins to also post an 8-2 record.
They had to dig deep to edge out Seattle 21-19 last Sunday but the Seahawks were on a hot streak themselves and LA had previously brushed aside Baltimore by 14 , Jacksonville by 28 , New Orleans by 24 and San Francisco by 16 .
