We said the Chiefs were drinking in the last chance saloon when they let us down for back-to-back winning trebles last week, so it’s time to finally give up on them after five Super Bowl appearances in the past six seasons.

Fourth quarter dropped passes by the usually reliable Rashee Rice and franchise legend Travis Kelce cost Kansas City dearly in a 20-10 home defeat by Houston, and this feels like a team in need of a revamp.

The Chargers improved to 9-4 when edging out Philadelphia 22-19 in overtime, bravely battling through a scrappy contest despite Justin Herbert being sacked seven times.

They have already beaten the Chiefs in Brazil this term and actually have a good recent record at Arrowhead Stadium, winning twice in their last five visits and only losing by two and three-point margins in other tight tussles,

Los Angeles Rams-6.5 Points vs Detroit Lions @ 20/21

The Rams put a surprise loss at Carolina behind them when they demolished Arizona 45-17 on the road, when a well-balanced offence sparkled both in the air and on the ground.

At times, it seems that only self-inflicted penalties can stop Matthew Stafford and Co. from putting points on the board whenever in possession and returning to fortress SoFi Stadium only enhances their appeal.

Detroit can never be dismissed lightly, and last week’s 44-30 triumph over Dallas was a power-packed display, but an injury to star safety Brian Branch will hurt them, and the Lions have already lost by more than this spread at Green Bay, Kansas City and Philadelphia.

Buffalo Bills To Win At New England@ 5/6

We’ve had good success of late opposing teams who have exceeded all expectations this season, and now it’s time for the Patriots to have their bubble burst.

Admittedly, New England did grind out a narrow victory at Buffalo early on in a run of 10 straight wins, but they have not had to beat much else of note, and we’re yet to be convinced they are genuine contenders, especially with an offensive line that is currently a bit banged up.

The Bills are two wins behind in the AFC East table due to some lapses in concentration, but elite-level quarterback Josh Allen appears to be in the groove after back-to-back triumphs versus Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, and his experience can help make the difference here.
