NFL Week 14 Betting Tips

Jacksonville+2.5 Points vs Indianapolis @ 20/23

We always felt the Colts were flattered by a 7-1 start, and they have since suffered three defeats in four matches, as well as only edging out struggling Atlanta in overtime.

Daniel Jones was clearly hampered by his broken fibula during last week’s home loss to Houston, and with star cornerback Sauce Gardner now sidelined, a defence already missing DeForest Buckner looks more vulnerable.

It took a while to get over how bad Jacksonville were at Wembley in mid-October, but quarterback Trevor Lawrence has certainly redeemed himself in a recent hat-trick of victories, taking their record to 8-4.

Add on the fact that the Jaguars have won 10 consecutive home encounters with the Colts, and they are hard to resist with a small start.

Green Bay - 6.5 Points vs Chicago @ 5/6

The Bears have exceeded all expectations during a run of nine wins in 10 outings, and last week’s 24-15 triumph at Philadelphia converted many more believers, but we’re still not quite convinced they are the real deal, especially on offence.

Facing an in-form Green Bay outfit at Lambeau Field could prove a step too far, even if Chicago did end an 11-game losing streak against their NFC North rivals by prevailing 24-22 at this venue at the end of last term.

The Packers lost QB Jordan Love to injury early on in that contest, but he is in rude health right now, turning in a fine performance during a 31-24 success at Detroit that improved Green Bay’s record to 8-3-1 and put them just one win away from leapfrogging Chicago at the top of the division table.

Kansas City -3.5 Points vs Houston @ 20/21

The Chiefs may already be drinking in the last chance saloon after slipping to 6-6 with a Thanksgiving defeat in Dallas, but that was a high-quality tussle and getting back to Arrowhead Stadium is a massive boost.

Kansas City have now lost on four straight road trips, but their home form has remained strong, with five consecutive victories at this venue just about keeping their play-off hopes alive.

Houston are on a four-game winning streak and haven’t really put in a bad performance all season, but they did lose away to the Rams, the Jaguars and the Seahawks by more than this spread, so we’re prepared to take them on here.
