Each signal caller deserves great credit for making successful comebacks from injury but it is hard not to see the return of two-time NFL MVP Jackson as being the more significant development.
Pre-season Super Bowl favourites Baltimore are back to a manageable 3-5 after previously thumping Chicago by 14 points, and they are tipped to build even more momentum by completing a hat-trick of wins in Minnesota.

San Francisco claimed an overtime win when these teams met in Los Angeles just over a month ago but their injury problems on defence are now really starting to mount up, with Mykel Williams joining Fred Warner and Nick Bosa on the sidelines.
Will the Rams cover -3.5 at San Francisco?
The 49ers were still good enough to beat the Giants last time out but had lost two of their previous three matches in a pretty convincing manner.
Conversely, the Rams are on a real roll on both sides of the ball after bouncing back with three straight emphatic victories, thumping Baltimore by 14 points, Jacksonville by 28 and New Orleans by 24, so they are perfectly placed to exploit any San Francisco fringe players called up.
